  • Publication number: 20240128999
Abstract: A wireless communication scenario comprises a radio propagation environment providing for a propagation of a wireless signal via a path component, the wireless communication scenario comprising a plurality of devices configured for wirelessly communicating in the wireless communication scenario. A member of the wireless communication scenario is configured for identifying the path component of the wireless signal travelling through the radio propagation environment.

  • Patent number: 11917592
Abstract: A wireless communications network includes a base station configured for operating a wireless communications network cell of the wireless communications network so as to provide communication in a plurality of slots. Each slot includes a plurality of associated physical resources. The wireless communications network includes at least one transmitter configured for transmitting a signal in the wireless communications network cell by mapping the signal into a number of part signals and for transmitting the number of part signals with a corresponding number of associated slots using a corresponding number of sets of physical resources, each set containing at least a subset of the associated plurality of physical resources of the slot. Each set of physical resources is received at the base station shifted with a set-individual offset and with respect to a synchronized start of the slot.

  • Patent number: 11779686
Abstract: A medical device substrate with a coating including a functional layer located on the substrate, with the functional layer including at least one sugar alcohol and being bonded to the substrate directly or indirectly via a functionalization of the sugar alcohol. Alternatively, the functional layer may also include other saccharides, in which case it is essential that polymerization of the saccharides takes place only upon bonding to the substrate. The inventive medical device exhibits reduced platelet adhesion and aggregation.

  • Publication number: 20040188351
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for reducing a tendency toward adsorption of molecules or biological cells from solutions or suspensions on a material surface placed in contact with the solution or suspension, as well as a use of the method, and a method for the production of a material with reduced tendency toward adsorption of molecules or biological cells from solutions or suspensions, which is suitable for conducting this method. It is provided that an organic or inorganic support material with a modified surface is used as the material, and that the surface is modified by in-situ polymerization of monomers which are selected as a function of a property of the molecule or the cell, onto the surface.
