  • Publication number: 20250146252
Abstract: An apparatus is configured for attachment to a power machine. The apparatus includes first and second side plates, a lower plate, a platform assembly and a first bumper. Each of the first and second side plates is configured for pivotal attachment to the power machine at a first pivot joint. The lower plate has a fixed orientation relative to each of the first and second side plates. The platform assembly comprises a platform and a frame, wherein the frame is attached to each of the first and second side plates at a second pivot joint. The first bumper is disposed between the platform and the lower plate. An exemplary method of supporting a load applied on an apparatus of a power machine includes applying the load onto the platform and compressing the first bumper between the platform and the lower plate.

  • Patent number: 8079650
Abstract: A spring loaded track tensioning assembly for a track on a track driven vehicle has a spring subassembly that is retained on a spring shaft under a preload with a first fixed spring retainer and a second slidable spring retainer. The spring shaft has an outer end that extends beyond the second spring retainer and the outer end is slidably received in a bore in a piston or actuator shaft of a grease cylinder, with the end of the actuator shaft bearing on the second spring retainer. The grease cylinder contacts and applies a force to the second spring retainer, for initial positioning of the tensioning assembly, and additional loads on the first spring retainer that compress the spring cause the outer end of the spring shaft to slide in the bore of the actuator shaft as the second spring retainer slides along the spring shaft.

  • Publication number: 20030168865
Abstract: A two-stage latch is used for a tailgate on a vehicle such as an excavator or skid steer loader. The tailgate forms a cover for an engine compartment or other components of the vehicle, and the two-stage latch has a primary latch dog that will hold the cover fully closed. A secondary catch hook is used and includes a lost motion drive for actuating the latch dog. When opening the tailgate the latch hook engages a retainer bracket and will remain in a holding position so that the cover or tailgate will open slightly when the latch hook is released but cannot be fully opened until the catch hook is manually released from the retainer bracket on the vehicle frame.
