  • Patent number: 11967021
Abstract: Various techniques pertaining to methods, systems, and computer program products a spatial persistence process that places a virtual object relative to a physical object for an extended-reality display device based at least in part upon a persistent coordinate frame (PCF). A determination is made to decide whether a drift is detected for the virtual object relative to the physical object. upon or after detection of the drift or deviation, the drift or deviation is corrected at least by updating a tracking map into an updated tracking map and further at least by updating the persistent coordinate frame (PCF) based at least in part upon the updated tracking map, wherein the persistent coordinate frame (PCF) comprises six degrees of freedom relative to the map coordinate system.

  • Publication number: 20240093590
Abstract: The systems and techniques described herein may allow for optimized boring through a variety of geologies. A plurality of different boring techniques may be utilized for boring through a geological formation, in order to suit the characteristics of various portions of the geological formation. The systems and techniques described herein includes determining geological features and adjusting operation of boring based on the geological features. In certain such embodiments, boring systems may include a bore head that includes a plurality of boring elements. Such boring elements may be contact and/or non-contact boring elements.

  • Publication number: 20240053116
Abstract: A firearm trigger assembly has a frame, a hammer pivotally connected to the frame, a trigger element pivotally connected to the frame and operable to selectively restrain and release the hammer in response to movement of the trigger element between a restraint position and a release position, a trigger lever movably connected to the trigger element and movable with respect to the trigger element between a first unactuated position and a second actuated position, and the trigger element being configured to remain in the restraint position when the trigger lever is in the first unactuated position, in any of a range of positions intermediate the first unactuated position and the second actuated position, and when in the second actuated position with an application of force to the trigger lever below a selected force threshold.

  • Patent number: 10722027
Abstract: A weapon security apparatus includes a base member and a gate member pivotably coupled to the base member configured to enclose a portion of a weapon. The apparatus further includes a retractable latch, the retractable latch locking the gate member in the closed position when in a non-retracted state and releasing the gate member when in a retracted state. The apparatus also includes a solenoid configured to retract the retractable latch when activated. The apparatus includes a controller configured to activate the solenoid with a first electrical current for a first period of time during which the retractable latch moves to the retracted position and with a second electrical current for a second period of time during which the retractable latch is held in the retracted position.
