  • Publication number: 20210383922
Abstract: In a method for initiating a data transfer from an implantable medical device a relay data request is generated at a remote device, the relay data request containing an implant interrogation request representing a request for the implantable medical device to create an interrogation data set. The relay data request is transferred to a patient device, and a communication link between the patient device and the implantable medical device is established to transmit said implant interrogation request to the implantable medical device. An implant interrogation response is transferred from the implantable medical device to the patient device, the implant interrogation response representing a response from the implantable medical device containing said interrogation data set. The implant interrogation response is transferred from the patient device to the remote device.

  • Patent number: 7634671
Abstract: A method is provided of determining total electric power consumption of a managed IT network including network devices having a management-addressable address. An autodiscovery tool is run to discover the network devices of the managed IT network. Management requests are directed to the management-addressable addresses of the network devices to obtain the electric power consumption values of the network devices. The electric power consumption values returned by the network devices are centrally collected, and the total electric power consumption of the managed IT network is calculated by adding the electric power consumption values of the network devices.

  • Publication number: 20070192406
Abstract: The invention is directed to a method of consolidating an existing arrangement of servers into a consolidated arrangement of servers, taking into account electric power consumption of the servers. An autodiscovery tool is run on the existing arrangement which discovers optimization-relevant data about the existing arrangement and obtains optimization-relevant data about the discovered servers, including their electric power consumption. A consolidated arrangement of servers is determined by means of a computer system by optimizing the existing arrangement of servers according to the one or more optimization criteria, taking into account the electric power consumption of the servers.
