    Abstract: A process for manufacturing a fiber reinforced elastomeric article is provided. The process contemplates depositing a plurality of fibers onto a former and dipping the former into a polymer bath containing an elastomeric material to create a fiber reinforced elastomeric article. Depending upon the fibers selected, the fibers may be applied to a dry former or onto a former coated with a tacky surface such as a still wet elastomeric polymer.
