  • Patent number: 4475848
Abstract: A compact vacuum conveyor apparatus for the pneumatic conveyance of loose bulk materials includes a separator, a delivery device, a vacuum pump aggregate and the necessary appurtenances which are operationally assembled and contained in a support cabinet of rectangular parallelepipedal shape and of about the size of a large shipping container which can be loaded onto a truck. A hollow tubular conveyor extends from and is supported on the front wall of the cabinet and is connected to the separator. A crane structure supports the conveyor and is likewise mounted on the front wall of the cabinet, a compression chord of the crane being supported on bearing lugs along the cabinet front wall, and being upwardly and downwardly pivotable about a horizontal axis of rotation by means of hydraulic piston and cylinder units extending between a tension chord of the crane and the roof of the cabinet.

  • Patent number: 4469191
Abstract: Each of the swivel-mounted wheel axles of a chassis can be manually positioned by means of an adjusting device, which includes a lever, into a first position for driving the chassis straight ahead or in reverse with respect to its longitudinal dimension, or else into a second position for turning the chassis about a fixed spot. In each position, the swivel-mounted axle is fixed in this position by means of a locking pin, which can be brought into the locked position by raising the lever or into the disengaged position by lowering the lever. A locking detector is assigned to each position. The locking detectors which have been assigned to the setting for driving straight or to that for turning on the spot are each incorporated into a separate control circuit, these control circuits permitting the starting of the wheel drives only when the swivel-mounted wheel axles have been properly set and locked for either driving straight or turning about the fixed spot.

  • Patent number: 4445588
Abstract: A guidable bogie truck for a mobile crane, such as a mobile gantry crane, includes a frame having longitudinal supports; a pair of wheel mechanisms connected to one end of the frame and a pair of wheel mechanisms connected to the opposite end of the frame, one of the pairs of wheel mechanisms being connected to pivotable axles which allows the associated pair of wheel mechanisms to constitute guide wheel mechanisms; four support legs movably connected to the frame; lifting devices connected to each of the four support legs to extend them downwardly to contact the ground and support the frame or to retract them upwardly towards the frame; wheel drive motors for turning the wheel mechanisms; adjustment motors for pivoting the pivotable wheel axles; and a common control device for controlling the operation of the bogie truck parts.

  • Patent number: 4427170
Abstract: A holder device for a flexible power supply cable includes coaxial, relatively rotatable sleeve members with the cable extending through an annular space defined between the inner wall of the rotatable members and a guide ring fixed to one of the members, the cable being affixed to both members which are capable of relative rotation without interference by the cable.
