  • Patent number: 11373050
Abstract: A method performed in a network control entity for enabling access to a wireless tag in a wireless communications network is provided. The wireless communications network includes two or more access points, APs. The network control entity configures a first AP to transmit a radio frequency signal in a first time period, and configures a second AP to receive, in the first time period, a radio signal reflected from the wireless tag using the transmitted radio frequency signal. A network control entity for enabling access to at least one wireless tag in a wireless communications network is also provided. Further, an access point AP and a method therein for enabling access to a wireless tag in a wireless communications network are also provided.

  • Patent number: 11251835
Abstract: A technique for performing power level control of one or more beams transmitted by a wireless transmission device to a wireless reception device is disclosed. A method implementation of the technique is performed by the wireless transmission device and comprises transmitting (S202) each of the one or more beams at a default power level of the respective beam, detecting (S204) an obstacle entering the one or more beams based on a change in an electromagnetic environment associated with the one or more beams, the obstacle, once entered, at least partially blocking the one or more beams with respect to the wireless reception device, and decreasing (S206), for each of the one or more beams, an output power of the respective beam from the default power level of the respective beam to a predetermined threshold power level of the respective beam.

  • Patent number: 7127211
Abstract: A transceiver transmits first and second signals on first and second transmit radio frequencies. After detecting a received signal, intermodulation distortion caused by transmission of the first and second signals is suppressed, reduced, and/or eliminated using information associated with the first and second transmitted signals. More specifically, the information associated with the first and second transmitted signals is used to calculate or otherwise obtain a correction factor that corresponds to the intermodulation distortion. The correction factor is subtracted from the received signal to suppress the intermodulation distortion.

  • Patent number: 6873860
Abstract: A base transceiver station for a radio communication system comprises a transmitter unit (TU), a receiver unit (RU) and a transmit path between the transmitter unit (TU) and an antenna. The receiver unit (RU) determines output data from received signals and the transmitter unit (TU) converts input data into transmitted signals and pre-distorts the transmitted signals using at least one compensation value. The base transceiver station comprises also a branching unit for transferring at least a portion of a transmitted signal from the transmit path to the receiver unit (RU) and a processing unit (PU) which is adapted to receive a representation of the input data and the output data. The processing unit (PU) compares the input data to the output data, determines a first compensation value for the pre-distortion according to the comparison and updates the compensation value of the transmitter unit (TU) with the first compensation value. Methods and computer programs embodying the invention are also described.
