Publication number: 20250058038Abstract: A manifold containing bolus doses of coding or emergency medications. The manifold permits medical personnel to access the medications from a single location, instead of retrieving them separately from various containers. The manifold either stores doses in individual syringes, or stores medications in containers which the doses are retrieved from through the manifold with a single syringe. The manifold is connectable to a venous access line, so the medication can be administered to the patient via the manifold.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 15, 2023Publication date: February 20, 2025Inventor: Thomas Vacek

Publication number: 20250058127Abstract: An apparatus and system for temporary implantable intracardiac defibrillator is provided to monitor and deliver therapy to a patient. The device is entirely implanted subcutaneously with minimal surgical intrusion into the body of a patient, and wirelessly interacts with external devices. If an arrhythmia occurs to a patient, the implant device activates an alarm to verify that the patient is not responsive. If the patient is conscious and wants to avoid a painful shock, the patient has a short time window to activate a shock aversion request. If the arrhythmia continues and the patient still does not respond, the patient will get a treatment shock.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 15, 2023Publication date: February 20, 2025Inventor: Thomas Vacek

Publication number: 20240399121Abstract: A wireless microcatheter system for opening an occlusion in vascular beds is disclosed that does not require initial cross with a wire. The microcatheter system may include an tubular body having a body proximal end and a body distal end, wherein the body distal end has a most distal tip, the most distal tip having a length; an inflatable angioplasty balloon having a balloon proximal end and a balloon distal end; a guidewire having a proximal end and a distal end, where the distal end of the guidewire is threaded through an opening of the most distal tip; and a reciprocating actuator coupled with the guidewire to move the guidewire in various ways including reciprocating manner relative to the most distal tip in a jackhammer fashion, circular fashion, or to apply various types of energy including ultrasound or electrocautery to the plaque without requiring initial cross with a wire.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 5, 2023Publication date: December 5, 2024Inventor: Thomas Vacek

Patent number: 12008668Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for analyzing and extracting data related to a structured proceeding, and for identifying, based on the analysis, at least one outcome associated with the structured proceeding. Embodiments provide for receiving data associated with a structured proceeding involving at least one party, the data including at least one docket entry, and analyzing, by an outcome location detector, the data to identify one or more docket entries in the at least one docket entry that are likely to include evidence of an outcome. Embodiments further include analyzing, by an outcome detector, the one or more docket entries determined to be likely to include evidence of an outcome to determine outcomes. The outcomes include at least one of a final outcome and at least one party outcome. The final outcome is associated with the structured proceeding overall, and the at least one party outcome is associated with a party of the at least one party that may have been terminated early.Type: GrantFiled: January 29, 2023Date of Patent: June 11, 2024Assignee: Thomson Reuters Enterprise Centre GmbHInventors: Thomas Vacek, Dezhao Song, Tim Nugent, Conner Cowling, Ronald Teo, Frank Schilder

Publication number: 20240119547Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure support systems and methods providing functionality for identifying legal authorities from input data that does not contain legal citations. The legal authorities may be identified by first extracting a set of features from input data. The set of features may be used to identify a set of candidate legal authorities. The set of candidate legal authorities may be ranked and/or pruned to produce a set of legal authorities that are highly relevant to legal issues and facts within the input data.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 6, 2023Publication date: April 11, 2024Inventors: Carol Jo Steffen Lechtenberg, Merine Thomas, Thomas Vacek, Paras Sethia, Zachary Malenick, Sara Grapentine, Andrew Timothy Mulder
