    Abstract: The present invention relates to a brake pad arrangement having a pad carrier plate, on which a brake pad is disposed, wherein the brake pad on a friction surface has at least two contour edges, at which the brake pad is chamfered. According to the invention in order to suppress noise it is provided that the at least two contour edges extend substantially parallel to one another and at a predetermined angle relative to a radial centre line M of the brake pad.
