  • Patent number: 11423047
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to computer-implemented methods, software, and systems for managing data replication between different source sections and target sections in response to received copy instructions associated with copy profiles. In response to evaluating statistical metadata identifying whether data records in relation to at least one client are included for a table from a first set of tables, a first subset of tables from the first set of tables is determined. In response to evaluating update metadata defining latest updates of tables from the first subset of tables, a second subset of tables from the first subset of tables is determined that defines tables that include updated data records relevant for copying. The second subset tables are iteratively evaluated to define corresponding operations to be performed for tables at the target section and at the source section in the database in relation to the requested copy operation.

  • Patent number: 10852620
Abstract: In example embodiments, a radiation source uses Rydberg states to generate coherent THz radiation (e.g., in the range of 1-20 THz). The radiation source includes a pair of pump lasers (e.g., external-cavity diode lasers (ECDLs)) optically coupled (e.g., by a dichroic mirror and optical fiber) to a heated vapor cell (e.g., a vacuum chamber) holding an atomic species (e.g., rubidium (Rb)). The pump lasers optically pump the atomic species (e.g., Rb) to a predetermined Rydberg state (e.g., the nD5/2 state), which creates a population inversion between that state (e.g., the nD5/2 state) and a lower lying Rydberg state (e.g., the (n+1)P3/2 state). The emission between these two strongly dipole coupled Rydberg states generates coherent THz radiation.

  • Patent number: 10738910
Abstract: A valve with a valve housing having a first connection along a first axis, a second connection along a second axis and a valve seat which surrounds the first connection arranged in the flow path of a flow chamber. A valve part is displaceable along a movement axis such that a closure surface can interrupt and release the flow path. A motorized drive unit to displace the valve part having a valve rod with a contact element, the drive unit has a guide mechanism with an actuating element configured to rotate about an actuating axis defining an outer track. The distance of the track from the actuating axis is adjustable by a rotation of the actuating element about the actuating axis. A rotation of the actuating element of the valve part is movable so that the interruption or release of the flow path can be provided thereby.
