  • Publication number: 20170169166
Abstract: Embodiments enable collaborative charting with device integration. A charting database includes a chart partitioned into a plurality of fields describing a patient's medical information. The charting database also includes for each field, authorization information describing who is permitted to alter the field. A charting interlace receives, from at least two devices, changes concurrently made to at least one of the plurality of fields. A concurrent charting component tracks the plurality of devices to determine which are accessing or altering the at least one changed field. The concurrent charting component determines based on the authorization information, which of the received concurrent changes are authorized. Upon resolving the concurrent changes from at least two devices, a propagation component sends the resolved concurrent change to devises, from the tracked plurality of devices, determined to be accessing or altering the changed field.

  • Patent number: 5118419
Abstract: An underdrain assembly for a bed of filter media includes a plurality of elongated screen lateral elements which each have a generally flat bottom surface and a convexly curved upper surface which has flow openings therein. The lateral elements each have a width substantially greater than their height and include a means defining a generally tubular-shaped surface positioned internally thereof. The generally tubular-shaped surface includes flow distribution openings which have a total open area less than the total area of the flow openings in the curved upper surfaces of the lateral elements. In various embodiments, the generally tubular-shaped surfaces are shown as comprising a single tube, a plurality of tubes, and a tube defined by the portions of a plurality of adjacent channel-shaped members whose leg portions support the curved upper surface of the screen lateral elements.

  • Patent number: 5015383
Abstract: An elongated screen assembly, which in various forms, is useful as a scallop in a reactor, or as an underdrain for a gravity filter system, has a cross-section in a direction normal to its axis which is at least twice as wide as it is high. A method is also disclosed for manufacturing the screen assembly by pressing the opposed sides of a wrapped wire cylindrical screen assembly between a pair of plates which have radii of curvature which are different from each other and greater than the radius of curvature of the cylindrical screen assembly.

  • Patent number: 4360836
Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus which removes harmful radiation from the visible image producing radiation emitted by a cathode ray tube. The apparatus comprises an image conveying member for conveying by reflectance the visible image originating from a cathode ray tube and an image receiving member for receiving the image conveyed by the image conveying member. The image conveying member is comprised of a reflective layer and an absorptive layer. The reflective layer of the image conveying member is substantially reflective of visible electromagnetic radiation and substantially transmissive of electromagnetic radiation of wavelengths shorter than visible radiation. The absorptive layer of the image conveying member is comprised of a material capable of absorbing the electromagnetic radiation transmitted by the reflective layer of the image conveying member.

  • Patent number: 4013556
Abstract: Combination flow distributing and collecting apparatus for collecting and distributing fluids at different flow rates includes at least one cylindrical screen member portion having a cylindrical distribution and collection pipe positioned interiorly thereof. The distribution and collection pipe contains a plurality of openings in its sides, with at least some of the openings serving to permit flow in one radial direction while restricting or preventing flow in the other radial direction while the other openings permit flow in either direction.
