  • Patent number: 5360031
Abstract: An insulation system comprises a J-shaped piece and an L-shaped piece, each piece having an end portion of circular cross section. One of the end portions is enlarged relative to the other, thus enabling telescopic interengagement of the end portions and rotatable assembly of the insulation pieces.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 22, 1994
Date of Patent: November 1, 1994
    Assignee: Truebro, Inc.
Inventors: Steven R. Trueb, Thomas W. Trueb
  • Patent number: 5303730
Abstract: Thermal insulation for the piping of a sink or the like comprises an elongate tubular piece that is fabricated from a resiliently yieldable material and that has integrally formed, resiliently yieldable internal rib formations projecting into the passageway through which the piping extends. The rib formations enable more universal application to pipes of various sizes, while also affording better insulating and cushioning properties. Angle valve piping insulation includes a hinged cover component that is normally at least substantially closed, and that is readily displaceable to permit access into the internal body passage.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 8, 1993
Date of Patent: April 19, 1994
    Assignee: Truebro, Inc.
Inventors: Steven R. Trueb, Thomas W. Trueb
  • Patent number: 5259410
Abstract: Slit pieces of thermal insulating molded rubber are configured to conform to under-sink piping, so as to provide protection against burn injury from contact with hot surfaces. Three or four pieces are telescopically and rotatably interengaged with one another to cooperatively enclose an installed P-trap assembly, and the piece covering the J-bend is formed with a protrusion to accommodate clean-out structure provided thereon.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 14, 1992
Date of Patent: November 9, 1993
    Assignee: Truebro Inc.
Inventors: Steven R. Trueb, Thomas W. Trueb
  • Patent number: 5163469
Abstract: A unitary article is cut into sections to provide pieces that are configured for emplacement upon under-sink piping, as insulation against burn injury from contact with hot surfaces. Three pieces cooperate with one another to provide a system for enclosing an installed P-trap assembly.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 3, 1991
Date of Patent: November 17, 1992
    Assignee: Truebro Partnership
Inventors: Thomas W. Trueb, Steven R. Trueb
  • Patent number: 5054513
Abstract: Slit pieces of thermal insulating molded rubber are configured to conform to under-sink piping so as to provide protection against burn injury from contact with hot surfaces. Three pieces cooperate with one another to enclose the installed P-trap assembly, and a fourth piece is severable into two parts which serve to enclose the hot water valve and its supply pipe and tube.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 20, 1990
Date of Patent: October 8, 1991
