Abstract: A voice-enabled ambient personal assistant positioned in a place of residence of an individual, or carried on the person of the individual is provided to help the individual feel safe, remain close to friends, family, and community, and to instill a feeling that life continues to be meaningful in order to live independently in their home safely for as long as possible. Moderator(s) are able to control the information being communicated through the personal assistant to the individual or group of individuals to personalize the information to the memories, tastes, and/or needs of the individual.
