The article also has a topsheet on the wearer-facing side; a backsheet; an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet; an acquisition layer disposed between the absorbent core and the topsheet; and a visual signal viewable from the wearer-facing side of the absorbent article. The visual signal includes a color imparted to the acquisition layer. The article further comprises at least one channel disposed within the absorbent core that is substantially free of absorbent material; and a wetness indicator disposed on the backsheet and viewable from the garment-facing side of the absorbent article.
