  • Publication number: 20240132721
Abstract: A flowable silicone-polyolefin composition is disclosed. The silicone-polyolefin composition comprises (A) a polysiloxane and (B) a functionalized polyolefin dispersed in the polysiloxane (A). The polysiloxane (A) comprises an average per molecule of at least one functional group X, and the functionalized polyolefin (B) comprises an average per molecule of at least one functional group Y that is reactable with the functional group X of the polysiloxane (A) to form a bond therebetween. A curable composition comprising the flowable silicone-polyolefin composition, a cured product of the curable composition, and methods of preparing the flowable silicone-polyolefin composition, curable composition, and cured product are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240017123
Abstract: Traditional workouts are sometimes harder to tolerate unless supplemented with entertainment content, even when the workouts are course-led, instructor-led and beat-led. By analyzing the emotional topography of an entertainment source, an emotion-led workout profile is created that is synchronized with non-quantitative elements of the source. Biometric responses may be included in the analysis. An exercise machine runs the emotion-led workout profile in synchronization with the entertainment. Controlling the machine to provide a sensory texture layer results in a more immersive experience. Potential benefits are the use of a single screen instead of two, an increase in actual effort compared to perceived effort, and increased enjoyment of a workout.

  • Publication number: 20230148785
Abstract: A tea bag device is described which is for use with a beverage container having a lid. Method of forming a beverage container containing the tea bag device and for steeping tea are also provided. The tea bag device includes (a) a tea bag enclosing a volume of tea and (b) a snap-fit attachment comprising male and female snap portions. The snap-fit attachment is configured so that when the male and female portions are reversibly engaged with each other, and the snap-fit attachment is engaged with the tea bag and the lid the tea bag is biased against an undersurface of the lid.

  • Patent number: 9055719
Abstract: A construction machine is provided. The construction machine includes a chassis and a ground engaging member (such as a wheel or a track) operable to support and move the chassis over ground. The construction machine further includes a work implement (such as a bucket) coupled to the chassis; a cab mounted on said chassis and having a user seat, and a first controller (such as a joystick) accessible to a user seated in the user seat. The joystick controls at least one of moving the work machine over ground and movement of the bucket. The joystick has a first actuator (such as a trigger button) that is operable to selectively engage ride control functionality.

  • Publication number: 20110174537
Abstract: System and methods for creating shaped, non-circular boreholes in rocks especially for use with geothermal heat pump applications and for increasing wellbore support in applications such as horizontal oil and gas drilling are described. The systems and methods when applied to geothermal heat pumps create an elliptical shaped hole that is optimized for placing heat transfer tubes with a minimum of grout used. The significantly reduced cross-sectional area of the elliptical borehole also increases the overall drilling rate in rock and especially in hard rocks. In horizontal hard-rock drilling, creation of a horizontal non-circular borehole or modification of a circular borehole to a non-circular geometry is used to stabilize the borehole prior to casing insertion, and may also allow the use of lower mud pressures improving drilling rates. The system uses a non-contacting drilling system which in one embodiment uses a supersonic flame jet drilling system with a movable nozzle that swings between pivot points.
