Abstract: A metalized fabric and method for metallization of fabric. The fabric is formed using two threads with different affinities for metallization, but which threads are not metalized prior to forming into the fabric. The threads will typically be woven using an unbalanced weave to provide one side of the fabric with a resultant greater amount of metallization than the other but this is not required. Once the resultant fabric is metalized, it will typically be more suitable for consistent color dying than fabric which was formed from both metalized and unmetallized threads.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to a clip system and clips for affixing insulation. Clips are taught which include a base, a spacer extending therefrom, and a head attached to the spacer opposite the base. The head of a T-clip has a laterally extending portion in a parallel relationship with the base. The head of an A-clip has a generally arrow head shaped cross section. At least one T-clip and at least one A-clip comprise the clip system. The clips are preferably used to affix insulation to the exterior of a wall using two-sided tape attached to the base rear of each clip.

Abstract: A vehicle-status-evaluating device is operable to distinguishably sense between inactive-vehicle and active-vehicle states and includes a power-switch operable to selectively power-up an associated vehicular device in response to a vehicle-status-evaluating device sensed active-vehicle state. An on-board, battery-powered telematics device, a telematics system, and a telematics display and a related method are included.

Abstract: a metal hinge assembly for adjustably mounting a gate in a corresponding gate frame. The two nuts attached to the treaded rod on the upper portion of the hinge allow for the horizontal distance between the gate and the gate post adjustment The vertical distance is achieved by a chamber in the base of the hinge in which an alien key is received and torqued to change the distance between the gate and the gate post.
