  • Patent number: 10020762
Abstract: A method operates a brushed commutator motor of an adjusting drive in a motor vehicle, particularly a window lifter, having a rotor and having a stator. An angular position of the rotor with respect to the stator is determined. The angular position is used to determine a ripple within the torque, which ripple can be expected on the basis of the commutation. The motor current is adapted such that the amplitude of the ripple that can be expected remains below a determined limit value.

  • Patent number: 9333930
Abstract: In the case of a collision protection method for a displaceable vehicle part of a vehicle, during the displacement of the vehicle part, a focused light beam is deflected by a light deflection unit along a predefined scanning path and reflected radiation of the same light beam is detected by a light-sensitive sensor to scan a travel path region upstream from the vehicle part. The presence or absence of an obstruction in the upstream travel path region is concluded on the basis of the reflected radiation, wherein the displacement is stopped or reversed if an obstruction is recognized in the upstream travel path region.

  • Patent number: 9304156
Abstract: A method measures a capacitance. According to the method, a first detection measurement for the capacitance which is to be measured is detected by a first measurement method during a first measurement phase. In this case, a second measurement phase is started when the first detection measurement satisfies a transition criterion. A second detection measurement for the capacitance which is to be measured is detected during the second measurement phase by a second measurement method which differs from the first measurement method. The second measurement method has higher measurement accuracy than the first measurement method but also greater energy expenditure.

  • Patent number: 8635809
Abstract: The invention specifies an anti-trapping device, comprising a motor for driving a pivotable actuating element of a motor vehicle, a sensor for contactlessly identifying an obstacle in the way of the actuating element with an electrode, which has a plurality of segments for producing an external electrical field with respect to a mating electrode and a control unit. The electrode extends in a radial direction with respect to the pivotable actuating element and is split in the radial direction into the plurality of segments, which can each be evaluated separately for the purpose of generating an interference signal. The control unit is designed to drive the motor as a function of an interference signal from one of the segments. Such an anti-trapping device has particularly high flexibility when driving the pivotable actuating element if an obstacle in the way of the pivotable actuating element has been detected.
