An example method includes: collecting performance information from each of a plurality of content delivery networks by each of a plurality of client devices; reporting the collected performance information by each of the plurality of client devices; and based on the collected performance information, mapping each client device to an optimal one of the plurality of content delivery networks to use for data transfer between the client device and the corresponding mapped content delivery network.

Abstract: A modular bedding system comprises a universal knock down bed base having removable mattress supporting panels, a headrest adjustable module and a footrest adjustable module. The universal bed base may be used with the removable panels in place to support a conventional non-adjustable mattress or the removable panels may be removed and the adjustable modules substituted to enable the base to support either a headrest adjustable mattress or a headrest and footrest adjustable mattress.

Each coil spring comprises a pair of knotted end turns with a plurality of conically tapered central convolutions therebetween. Certain sections of the product are made firmer than other sections by inverting the coil springs of one section relative to another section.

Abstract: A nestably stackable bedding foundation assembly replaces the traditional border wire and disposed coil spring foundation assembly in a so-called box spring. The foundation assembly may be nestably stacked with numerous other such assemblies for transportation, thereby avoiding the need to compress and tie the assembly for shipping. Each foundation assembly includes a number of corrugated support wires having alternating peaks and valleys. The valleys of selected support wires are twisted relative to their associated peaks to provide a more stable mounting to a base and offer a variety of firmness to specific zones of the assembly.

Abstract: A collar seal is configured for a turbine nozzle vane. The seal includes a retainer having a circumferential airfoil contour conforming with the airfoil contour of the vane. A flexible leaf is surrounded by the retainer and fixedly joined thereto. A woven sheath encases the leaf and is fixedly joined to the retainer. In an exemplary embodiment, the collar seal surrounds one end of a ceramic turbine vane mounted in a metal supporting band.

Abstract: The invention provides new methods for synthesis of percarbonic acid and methods of using percarbonic acid compositions for the treatment of substrates. The invention is particularly useful for cleaning, disinfecting and/or sterilizing a substrate using percarbonic acid or a percarbonic acid-carbon dioxide mixture. The invention further provides an apparatus suitable for use in the substrate treatment methods provided herein. The invention also provides methods and apparatus for the real time monitoring of the treatment processes provided herein.

Abstract: Returned checks are matched with related bank documents during a mail insertion operation. In the disclosed examples, the method and system utilize an imaging system to read the MICR account code line on each check payment document. The account number data from the check document is then compared to account number data for a related bank document and a match or mismatch is determined.

Abstract: An assembly for mounting an igniter in a gas turbine engine combustor between an outer casing and an outer liner, wherein a longitudinal centerline axis extends through the gas turbine engine. The igniter mounting assembly includes a first spring member encircling a portion of said igniter and being positioned between a surface adjacent the outer casing and an outer surface of the outer liner, a first ring member connected to a first end of the first spring member adjacent the outer surface of the outer liner, and a second ring member connected to a second end of the first spring member adjacent the surface adjacent the outer casing. Accordingly, the igniter is able to maintain substantial alignment with respect to an opening in the outer liner while moving radially and/or axially with respect to the outer liner as the outer casing experiences thermal growth greater than the outer liner.

Abstract: A machine for securing a border wire on a mattress inner spring comprises a support for supporting the mattress inner spring and border wire; a clip applicator for applying clips to the mattress inner spring and the border wire to secure the border wire to the mattress inner spring; a movement generating system for effecting relative movement between the mattress inner spring and border wire, and the clip applicator, such that the clip applicator successively secures clips to the mattress inner spring and the border wire around a perimeter of the mattress inner spring; a controller controlling activation and deactivation of the clip applicator and drive system; and a clip applicator feed system configured to receive and feed to the clip applicator a plurality of non-coiled strips of clips.
