Patent number: 11539791Abstract: Various embodiments herein described are directed to methods, apparatuses and computer program products configured for improving data synchronization in on-premises application service systems. In some embodiments, an on-premises application service system may transmit a synchronization check message to an in-cloud application service system and receive a synchronization request message in response. Based at least in part on the synchronization request message, the on-premises application service system transmits data objects to the in-cloud application service system for synchronization. Additional example embodiments provide various example methods of managing synchronizations between on-premises application service systems and in-cloud application service systems that improve data security and reduce network traffic.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2021Date of Patent: December 27, 2022Assignees: ATLASSIAN PTY LTD, ATLASSIAN, INC.Inventors: Pawel Mikolajczuk, Nathaniel Benton Jones, Thomas Whalen-Bridge, Michal Szymandera

Double-lever mechanism, trip actuator assembly and electrical switching apparatus employing the same
Publication number: 20060132270Abstract: A double-lever mechanism is for the trip actuator of a circuit breaker having a housing, separable contacts and an operating member for opening and closing the contacts. A trip bar opens the separable contacts in response to a trip condition, such as an overcurrent condition. The trip actuator assembly is a self-contained unit including an actuation subassembly comprising the double-lever mechanism and a coil and a plunger housed within an enclosure. First and second trip levers of the double-lever mechanism are pivotally coupled to first and second ends of the enclosure, respectively. In response to the trip condition, the plunger extends, pivoting the first trip lever which engages and pivots the second trip lever in order to actuate the trip bar. The double-lever mechanism provides a mechanical advantage by reducing actuating forces and plunger travel.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 21, 2004Publication date: June 22, 2006Inventors: David Turner, Louis Grahor, Jason McMains, Thomas Whalen -

Publication number: 20050025707Abstract: This invention is directed to compositions for embolizing vascular sites. The compositions described herein comprise fumed silica as a rheological modifier. The fumed silica imparts high viscosity to the compositions under static conditions but allows the compositions to flow readily under shear conditions. This invention is also directed to methods for treatment of aneurysms, arteriovenous fistulae, arteriovenous malformations, tumors, and other vascular diseases using the compositions described herein. Other uses are disclosed as well. Kits of parts including those compositions and devices which can deliver these composition are also described.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 26, 2004Publication date: February 3, 2005Inventors: William Patterson, Richard Greff, Meyer Rosen, Earl Slee, Thomas Whalen

Patent number: 6560789Abstract: A load absorbing apparatus for use in protective equipment in which a resilient bag containing fluid under pressure is disposed in a position subject to loads and a reservoir of elastomeric material which is expandable from an initial position with a minimum volume to a loaded position with an increased volume which is positioned in spaced relation to said position subject to loads. The resilient bag and reservoir are connected in fluid communication so that loads imposed on the bag force fluid from the bag to the reservoir where the energy is dissipated. After the load is removed from the resilient bag, the reservoir returns to its original shape to return the fluid to the resilient bag. The protective equipment incorporating the load absorbing apparatus can be in the form of a helmet with a relatively rigid shell or a body protected pad having a flexible outer cover.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 2002Date of Patent: May 13, 2003Inventors: Thomas Whalen, Brian C. Whalen

Patent number: 5887664Abstract: An adjustable depth control mechanism for use with earth penetrating equipment. The invention includes a hub and spindle assembly for use with an adjustable depth gauge wheel, which is mounted on a support axle. It may also include a position indicator that an operator can readily view to determine the relative position of the depth gauge wheel and, accordingly, the depth setting of the ground penetrating disc. The indicator rotates to certain positions that correspond to the depth to which the disc is allowed to penetrate into the ground. Preferably, both the position indicator and the adjustment mechanism of the assembly are located internal to the depth gauge wheel and are covered and protected by the rim of the wheel from contamination by soil and crop residue.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 1997Date of Patent: March 30, 1999Assignee: Yetter Manufacturing CompanyInventors: Patrick Thomas Whalen, Ronald Eugene Chenoweth
