  • Patent number: 6266581
Abstract: A spatial RAM system uses the position of a data sensor to generate a clock pulse that is used to trigger data acquisition. As a consequence, the errors associated with time-based clock sampling are avoided. This enables more accurate sampling of data at locations desired in space and more easily allows for non-uniform sampling.

  • Patent number: 4036252
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to a full opening check valve for use in a pipeline. The apparatus incorporates a funnel shaped body which is welded to a pipe in the pipeline. The body encloses a chamber and an axial half circle guide extends thereacross and along part of the chamber to serve as a guide for pipeline pigs passing through this device. The funnel shaped body is welded to an end plate. The end plate has a slightly recessed circular shoulder on the inside. The circular shoulder sealingly receives a valve element. The valve element is constructed of a flat plate member and is hung from above on a straight barlike member serving as a hinge. The hinge extends from the end plate at the side. This enables the hinge rod to be connected to a damper or crank mechanism for controlled rotation. The end plate welds to a second pipe.

  • Patent number: 3974848
Abstract: A three port, two way check valve is disclosed. It is made of a standard tee and standard flanges attached thereto, typically in conformance with API standards. A flat disc is inserted in one of the openings, the disc incorporating an inernal circular valve seat and a hinged valve member which closes against the disc. A similar apparatus is installed in the center port of the tee. The flapper valve elements are connected together by a connecting rod. The connecting rod assures that when one is pulled closed that the other is pulled open. The connecting rod assures that the check valve function is obtained.
