  • Patent number: 11648925
Abstract: Methods and corresponding control devices for releasing an electric actuator in a reliable manner, such as an electric parking brake in particular, in a motor vehicle brake system. The aim of the invention is to provide an improved function and architecture which helps prevent the disadvantages of open-loop control systems when using a rationalized sensor system, thereby obviating closed-loop control systems. This is achieved by a release method and a corresponding electronic control unit which obtains an especially modulated change in the power requirement during the release process upon impacting the quasi-elastic release end stop of the electric actuating unit such that the change is fed back, the change being detected in order to be used as information for a power interruption or a termination of the power supply to the electric actuating unit.

  • Patent number: 11454277
Abstract: A linear guide device includes at least one linear guide unit which has a guide housing, in which two annularly closed circulating channels are formed in each of which a multitude of roller bearing elements is received. The guide housing has a single-piece housing intermediate element which contributes to the formation of the circulating channels and through which passes at least one lubrication channel which communicates with the circulating channels. The lubrication channel passes through the single-piece housing intermediate element and extends partly also in an integral pipe-stub-like lubrication appendix of the single-piece housing intermediate element, wherein the lubrication appendix includes a lubrication opening which is accessible from outside the guide housing for bringing in lubricant.

  • Publication number: 20220252115
Abstract: A centering mechanism with a brake piston of a disk brake of a motor vehicle, with a spindle extending into a cavity in the brake piston, has dimensions that prevent a force equilibrium of a nut-spindle assembly moved completely out of the vertical position. A force vector of the gravitational force on the nut-spindle assembly extends within a contact surface between a nut and the brake piston. Thus, the brake piston can be easily assembled with the nut-spindle assembly.

  • Patent number: 11190887
Abstract: The disclosed technology generally relates to a hearing device positioned partially or completely within an ear canal. In some implementations, the hearing device is an ITE with an oval-shaped or elongated battery, where the battery is positioned at an angle relative to a faceplate of the ITE. The hearing device can be a rechargeable, where the rechargeable battery is positioned (e.g., titled) between at an angle between 10 to 25 degrees relative to the faceplate of the ITE. In some implementations, the faceplate of the ITE is configured to enable the battery to pivot or adjust its angle such that the battery position can be adjusted to use space more efficiently. In some implementations, the battery 220 has a long axis, where the long axis is longer than any other battery axis, and the long axis extends from the faceplate at a non-perpendicular angle (e.g., 10 to 35 degrees).

  • Patent number: 11032283
Abstract: Some aspects of what is described here relate to managing the use of network resources on a mobile device. User input received at the device indicates whether to allow an application associated with a first perimeter on the device to access a network resource associated with a second perimeter on the device. For example, in some instances user input may indicate whether to allow data from applications associated with a personal perimeter on the device to be transmitted over an enterprise communication system. When outbound data associated with the first perimeter are received, the device determines, according to the indication from the user input, whether to route the outbound data to the network resource associated with the second perimeter.
