An account and associated identity of each of the plurality of electronic devices may be confirmed for a virtual currency instrument that corresponds to the user and an approval is transmitted to issue a token to each of the plurality of electronic devices. A plurality of instantiations of the virtual currency instrument, from the plurality of electronic devices, is registered in a user profile related to the user and stored in a memory along with the associated electronic device information, and the virtual currency instrument information.
