Embodiments include ones which are variable between a maximum and minimum flow rate, the minimum rate being selectively adjustable to approximately zero, comprising a relatively alignable strainer and drain body and droppably removable and sealable strainer and an independently straining drain body and providing for chemical elements outside of a liquid soak volume and at the site of engagement of strainer and drain body.

The improvement includes a skirt extending about the collar and secured to the collar by a fastener extending through the skirt and into the collar but not into the floor. The skirt defines an opening sized to receive a treatment material therein. A lid is configured for selectively engaging with the opening for allowing selective placement of treatment material in an area beneath the skirt.

The device includes an insert having one or more treatment characteristics and that is sized to be received within a trough of a drink dispenser and a panel engaged with the insert. The panel defines a plurality of apertures that allow flowthrough of spilled liquid from the drink dispenser into the insert.
