Abstract: A method for optimizing the performance of a time-critical computation component for a real-time interactive application includes the use of an algorithm having a precise logical thread and at least one fast estimation logical thread. The computation errors generated by the fast estimation thread are imperceptible by humans and are frame specific such that the errors are corrected within a graphical frame's time by the data from the precise logical thread.

Abstract: A system and method for managing form-generated data related to a patient encounter involves translating location information related to a user writing on a form into a contextualized data element that includes contextual information. The contextual information helps to explain and/or give meaning to the user writing. Contextual information may include a descriptive name, an identification of data type, healthcare classification information, taxonomic information, an indication of the patient, an indication of the person that wrote on the form, and/or an indication of the date and time at which the writing occurred. The contextual information is then used by an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)/Electronic Health Record (EHR) application to perform a function such as patient/insurance billing, case management, or order fulfillment.

Abstract: A book end with a saving-box includes two upright hollow bodies, which are positioned with two planar inner sides thereof facing toward each other to define a space between them for holding at least one book therein. Each of the two upright hollow bodies defines a coin collecting space, and is provided at a predetermined position with a coin slot communicating with the coin collecting space. Each of the two upright hollow bodies has a size-expanded lower portion and has a bottom board connected to a lower end thereof, and can therefore stand stably without the risk of tilting over.

The whistle includes a tubular body; a sleeve connected at a rear end to a first open end of the tubular body and at a front end to a rear end of the pen instrument to connect the whistle to the pen instrument; a whistle-producing reed structure fixedly provided in an inner space of the tubular body and including a reed; and a cut-off device provided at a predetermined position on the tubular body and operable by a user to allow or cut off flowing of air through the inner space of the tubular body. A balloon is connected to a second open end of the tubular body and inflated when the cut-off device is in a position allowing air to flow through the tubular body into the balloon.

Because the NOP instructions do not use the execution resources of other instructions, all instruction threads can be executed in one cycle.

Abstract: A system for automated processing of encounter and billing data while in a roaming environment, comprising a static system that creates appointment and encounter slots, and reserves a space for data from a missing patient encounter, and a wireless system that includes (1) a handheld device that receives and displays reminders and encounter slot number information; and (2) a handheld device that captures and transmits encounter data to the static system, wherein the static system and the wireless system substantially decrease administrative manual transaction data processing is disclosed. A healthcare transaction method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A liquid chalk assembly includes a first and a second liquid chalk module that are connected together via a first coupling sleeve to point two writing heads provided at front ends of the two modules to two opposite directions. A second coupling sleeve may be further provided to connect at a first end to the front end of the first liquid chalk module and at a second end to a rear end of a third liquid chalk module. Since differently colored liquid chalk material may be contained in different modules, the liquid chalk assembly provides a user with a wide choice of colors in writing.

Abstract: A decoration with three dimensional structure includes a sheet main body having a pressed area to show a specific figure. The specific figure has an outer configuration corresponding to an inner configuration of the pressed area, and is connected to and maintained at a desired position relative to the main body via at least one connecting section extended between the main body and the specific figure. At least one light-emitting module is attached to a rear side of the main body to emit light that is projected toward the pressed area and visible from a front side of the main body. Abstract: A decorative writing implement includes an animal-shaped body having four limbs and a head. Each limb is detachable from the body and retains a pen therein. A rear end of each limb is interferentially fit into a hole defined in the body for mounting the limb to the body. A writing tip of each pen extends beyond a front end of the corresponding limb. Protection caps in the form of a pair of gloves and a pair of boots are detachably mounted to the writing tips of the pens for protection thereof. A further pen is retained in the body with a writing tip thereof extending beyond the head. A cap is detachably mounted to the head for covering and protecting the further pen. Preferably, the animal-shaped body is made of rubber thereby being capable to serve as an eraser.
