  • Publication number: 20230367299
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for monitoring a first processor using a second processor in a field device, comprising the following method steps: calculating verification data on the basis of specified input data using a test algorithm on an external computing unit storing the input data and the verification data computed by the test algorithm; transferring the specified input data stored in the sensor module and the verification data; transferring the specified input data; executing the test algorithm on the first processor; making the calculated output data available on the second processor; checking the output data with the verification data using the second processor and, if the output data do not correspond to the verification data, establishing a malfunction.

  • Patent number: 10606228
Abstract: A measurement transducer, comprising: a sensor module having a sensor element, sensor electronics and a main electronics module. The sensor element emits sensor signals, and the sensor electronics processes the digitized sensor signals with a transmission function and provides processed sensor measurement values on a digital interface. The main electronics module is functionally connected to the sensor electronics and a logic unit, and a communications interface. The logic unit is configured to receive the sensor measurement values provided on the digital interface and to cause the output of a measurement signal corresponding to the sensor measurement values through the communications interface. The logic unit is configured to carry out a monitoring function. The monitoring comprises, in addition to a currently provided sensor measurement value, the reception of the associated digitized sensor signals, with the aid of a test function which comprises the transmission function.

  • Patent number: 10267700
Abstract: A high-precision pressure sensor, having a first base body that has two electrically conductive layers and an insulation layer arranged between the two layers and electrically insulating the two layers from one another, an electrically conductive measurement membrane arranged on the first base body with inclusion of a pressure chamber, which measurement membrane can be charged with a pressure to be measured, and an electrode provided in the membrane-facing layer and spaced apart from the measurement membrane, which electrode together with the measurement membrane forms a capacitor having a capacitance that varies according to the pressure acting upon the measurement membrane.

  • Patent number: 9898193
Abstract: An application-specific integrated circuit comprises: analog inputs having analog-digital converters; at least one digital signal processor, which has input registers and output registers. The analog-digital converters sample and digitize input signals Si with sampling frequencies fSi and forward the digitized signals SDi with output frequencies fSD-out-i to the input registers of the digital signal processor. The digital signal processor processes the digitized signals SDi to m processed signals SPj and forwards such to the output registers of the digital signal processor. The digital signal processor has a clock frequency, wherein, furthermore, the signals of the output registers can be output, respectively read-out, with an output frequency. One or more of the frequencies is, respectively, variable, wherein especially one or more of the frequencies, respectively, variable independently of the others of the frequencies.
