  • Publication number: 20220315380
Abstract: A switch arrangement for a lift, preferably a personnel lift or goods lift, including marked pushbuttons and an electrical conductor connection to a control device of the lift. The switch arrangement is provided with at least one elastically deformable plate element with the pushbuttons with the marking on the upper side of the button. A recognition element for the bending in the button is arranged beneath this plate element of the at least one pushbutton. In addition, an electrical conductor connection is provided from the recognition elements to the control device. As a result, it is possible for thinner and more user-friendly switch arrangements to be installed in or outside a lift, in particular for controlling it, or for general functions.

  • Patent number: 8177929
Abstract: A metal gasket formed from a suitable iron-nickel chromium alloy includes at least one embossment that exhibits essentially full functional recovery at temperatures exceeding 1000° F. and including in the range of 1100° F. to 1600° F. or more and which is made from sheet material that is work hardened and strengthened by cold rolling, or a combination of cold rolling and precipitation hardening, without any post embossment heat treating that would act to further harden the material. Suitable iron-nickel-chromium alloys include those comprising, by weight, greater than 18% nickel; greater than 14% chrome and 0.1-10% of at least one element selected from the group consisting of Mo, Ti, V, Al, Co, Nb, Ta and Cu, with the balance being substantially Fe, wherein the gasket sheet alloy has a deformed microstructure.

  • Publication number: 20070094983
Abstract: The invention provides a sheet metal joint and a method for forming a sheet metal joint. The sheet metal joint includes first and second metal sheets disposed in a parallel relation to one another. Each of the first and second metal sheets has a plurality of perforations with a tang extending from each perforation. The tangs of the second sheet and the tangs of the second metal sheet are curled together in opposite rotational directions. The tangs of the first metal sheet space the first and second metal sheets from one another and the tangs of the second metal sheet substantially fixedly engage the first and second metal sheets with respect to one another.

  • Patent number: 5341779
Abstract: A beam functioning fire ring mounted in main gasket body combustion openings straddles the block and cylinder liner of an internal combustion engine and seals combustion gases on the liner and liquids on the block. The fire ring may have a pair of combustion gas sealing feet on the liner and a single foot on the block. The thickness of the beam diminishes providing greater sealing stress against the liner and less sealing stress against the block where the sealing requirements are less stringent.
