Abstract: Method of spreading fertilizer, plant killer, or similar agents from an aircraft which includes the provision of a mobile station that receives a plurality of containers from which the agents are to be dispersed. The containers are filled at the station and moved on carrying means at the station to where they are to be subsequently lifted by the aircraft and the agents dispersed therefrom. The emptied container is returned to the station behind the filled container by the aircraft, disconnected therefrom, and the aircraft thereafter picks up a filled container.

Abstract: Apparatus for spreading fertilizer, plant killer, or similar agents from an aircraft which includes a container in which the agents are disposed, which container contains at its lower end rotating dispersion means for spreading agents to the surrounding area. The container further includes stabilizing means secured thereto for keeping the container in a predetermined attitude relative to the aircraft while maintaining the central axis of the container in substantially vertical position. The position of the container will be maintained independent of the amount of agent in the container and the flying speed of the aircraft.

Abstract: A supporting structure for a fish net or the like including a plurality of vertically extending supporting elements projecting, at least partially, above the water surface. Elongate connecting elements extending generally parallel to the water surface are releasably connected to the supporting elements to form a frame. A fish net is secured to the connecting elements, and is retained at a predetermined level relative to the water surface by inflatable members mounted upon the supporting elements. The connecting elements and supporting elements retain the inflatable members at fixed predetermined distances from each other.

Abstract: An animal food dispensing apparatus comprising a container with a bottom opening and an insert suspended in the opening. The insert is in the form of a sleeve open at its upper and lower ends. A vibrator is mounted within the sleeve and has a vibrating portion extending through the lower sleeve opening. The vibrating portion is attached to a food dispensing plate which extends across the lower sleeve opening and is spaced below it. When the vibrator is energized, food will fall from the edge of the plate.
