  • Patent number: 9333852
Abstract: A misfuelling prevention device, a fuel tank and a vehicle are described. The misfuelling prevention device includes an elongated support element arranged inside a tubular element. A first end of the elongated support element is coupled to the tubular element and a second end of the elongated support element and a central section of the elongated support element are arranged such that they are spaced apart from an inner surface of the tubular element. A blocking element is arranged at the second end of the elongated support element, thereby preventing misfuelling.

  • Patent number: 9272616
Abstract: A filler neck for a fuel tank of a motor vehicle is provided. The filler neck comprises a filler pipe with a longitudinal axis and a circular cross section with an inner diameter. The filler neck further comprises a blocking element that is arranged inside the filler pipe and extends only inside a circle sector of a circle concentric to the circular cross section. The circle has a circle diameter that is smaller than the inner diameter. The circle sector has an angle at the center of less than 180°.

  • Patent number: 9272618
Abstract: A misfuelling prevention device for a filler neck of a fuel tank includes a tubular element with an inflow side and an outflow side and a closure element, which, when in an open state, permits a flow of fuel through the outflow side, and, when in a closed state, prevents a flow of fuel through the outflow side. In a shell surface of the tubular element there is formed at least one opening which permits a flow of fuel from an inner side of the tubular element through to an outer side of the tubular element. The tubular element can be mounted such that at least a part of the shell surface in which the at least one opening is formed is arranged spaced apart from an inner surface of the filler neck such that fuel flowing through the at least one opening can flow via the filler neck into the fuel tank.
