  • Publication number: 20230145809
Abstract: A cable (100; 200) for electrically transmitting data includes two insulated line wires (110, 111), each of which has an inner conductor (110-1, 111-1) and which are stranded together in order to form a stranded line pair. A first dielectricum (130, 230) at least partly surrounds the two line wires (110, 111), and is at least partly arranged on the outer surface of the insulated line wires (110, 111). An interior at least partly enclosed by the first dielectricum (130) is partly filled with the stranded line pair. A second dielectricum (150) at least partly surrounds the first dielectricum (130; 230). A shielding (160, 170, 180) at least partly surrounds the second dielectricum (150). The first dielectricum (130; 230) is arranged at at least a specified distance (A) to the shielding (160).

  • Publication number: 20220263211
Abstract: Disclosed is a dielectric waveguide. A fibre core of the dielectric waveguide is formed by a first fibre core and a second fibre core. The first fibre core and the second fibre core have an intersection in the cross-section of the dielectric waveguide.

  • Publication number: 20220209386
Abstract: A cable is provided which has a dielectric medium forming a chamber which can also be filled by the dielectric medium. The cable additionally has a first dielectric waveguide element and a second dielectric waveguide element. The first dielectric waveguide element is arranged at a distance from the second dielectric waveguide element. The first dielectric waveguide element runs along a longitudinal direction of the cable through the chamber formed by the dielectric medium, and the second dielectric waveguide element runs along the longitudinal direction of the cable through the chamber formed by the dielectric medium. The polarization direction of the first dielectric waveguide element differs from the preferred polarization direction of the second dielectric waveguide element.

  • Publication number: 20070291498
Abstract: The invention relates to an electro-luminescent light element, in particular to a foil-shaped light element with a light emitting surface (34) for emitting light from a light pigment layer (16) arranged on a carrier (12). According to the invention the light element (10) is provided with an electrically conductive cover (30).

  • Publication number: 20070132352
Abstract: An electroluminescent film includes a base film through which an electric current is selectively passed. The base film emits radiant energy in the visible spectrum when the electric current is passed therethrough. A filter layer is fixedly secured to the base film and filters a portion of the radiant energy wherein only a portion of the radiant energy emitted by the base film passes through the filter layer to be visible to an observer.

  • Publication number: 20070081353
Abstract: Lighting unit, preferably rear light, for vehicles, preferably motor vehicles The lighting unit has a housing (1), in which at least one lamp (2, 3) is housed, which lies behind a lens (4). Furthermore, the lighting unit has at least one electroluminescent layer (12 through 15). In order that the lighting unit may be produced cost-effectively in such a way that a desired, particularly homogeneous light distribution is reliably achieved, the electroluminescent layer (12 through 15) is provided on the lens (4). The components (5, 6) required for the lamps (2, 3) in the housing (1), such as reflectors, may thus be used without restriction. The electroluminescent layer (12 through 15) may be situated without problems on the lens (4). The lighting unit is preferably a rear light for motor vehicles.
