  • Patent number: 11484720
Abstract: An electromedical adapter, an electromedical electrode and an electromedical pulse generator are provided for the field of medical electrical stimulation. In order to connect a non-coiled electrode portion (3) to a coiled electrode portion (2), in particular the adapter (1) is provided, having at least one contact element (5) which can be contacted by a coiled electrode portion (2) of an electrode (4) in such a way that the coiled electrode portion (2) surrounds, i.e. radially surrounds, a longitudinal axis of the main body (7) of the adapter with the at least one coiled conductor (8) thereof.

  • Publication number: 20170050030
Abstract: The adapter (1) implantable in a human body has the first electrical terminal (2) with at least one electrical contact (3) for attaching to an implantable electromedical device (4) and the second electrical terminal (5) with at least one electrical contact (6) for attaching to the implantable electromedical signal transmitter (7), in particular the stimulation electrode (26) or the extension (25) or a sensing electrode. The first electrical terminal (2) and the second electrical terminal (5) of the adapter (1) are electrically connected to each other in order to transmit electromedical signals. The adapter (1) includes the housing (8), on which the first electrical terminal (2) and the second electrical terminal (5) are formed. On the housing (8), the recess (9) is formed which is designed to receive and engage around at least a part of the implantable electromedical device (4).

  • Publication number: 20160367313
Abstract: The present invention relates to catheters in general and more particularly to improvements in so-called “irrigated ablation catheter” that may be used in mapping and ablation procedures of tissue, preferably heart tissue in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmia. The present invention is directed irrigated ablation catheter comprising an elongated catheter shaft (4), a deflectable section (3) distal to the catheter shaft, an ablation catheter tip (1) distal to the deflectable section.

  • Patent number: 9283380
Abstract: An external pacemaker with at least one electrode temporarily connectable to the heart, and at the distal end of which is an active region, which makes contact with heart tissue, and at the proximal end is a contact plug. The electrode is for transmission of stimulation, defibrillation, and/or cardioversion pulses and is plugged into a pacemaker plug socket. The contact plug has first and second contact regions at its plug part. The plug socket matches the contact plug with two mating contacts, the first for transmitting stimulation pulses and the second for transmitting defibrillation and/or cardioversion pulses. In the plugged-in position, only the contact region on the plug part makes contact with the mating contact provided for transmitting the defibrillation and/or cardioversion pulses, such that no defibrillation and/or cardioversion pulse can be transmitted to electrodes which are unsuitable for defibrillation and/or cardioversion and have only a single-stage contact plug.
