  • Patent number: 12199319
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a composition comprising the steps of: melt-blending a fluorinated polymer, preferably a polyvinylidene fluoride polymer, with a first conductive filler so as to obtain a conductive fluorinated polymer; grinding to powder said conductive fluorinated polymer; mixing the powder of conductive fluorinated polymer with a second conductive filler. The invention also relates to a composition comprising a second conductive filler and particles of conductive fluorinated polymer, wherein the particles of conductive fluorinated polymer comprise a fluorinated polymer matrix in which a first conductive filler is dispersed The invention also relates to a method for producing a bipolar plate and to a bipolar plate.

  • Patent number: 11955670
Abstract: For continuously producing a band-shaped plate material from plastic filled with electrically conductive particles, which can be sub-divided into bipolar separator plates or blanks for bipolar separator plates, the particles and the plastic are compounded into a compound, the compound is ground into a powder, the powder is spread out into a preform, and the preform is, preferably isobarically, hot-pressed between a lower belt and an upper belt of a double belt press into a plate material.

  • Publication number: 20210039969
Abstract: In an electrochemical treatment of a liquid in a precipitation reactor, the liquid is brought into contact with an electrically conductive electrode and an electrically conductive counter-electrode. The electrically conductive electrode comprises a flexible area electrode essentially having a two-dimensional extension. An electric voltage is applied between the electrode and the counter-electrode. The flexible area electrode is repeatedly deformed perpendicularly to its two-dimensional extension to inhibit the accumulation of substances precipitated from the liquid on the electrode and to remove substances precipitated from the liquid and accumulated on the electrode from the electrode.

  • Patent number: 10637089
Abstract: For bio-electrically generating electric power from organic ingredients of a waste water flowing in a flow direction, an anode is immersed in the waste water in a first spatial area, and oxygen is supplied to a cathode which is electrically connected to the anode and arranged in a second spatial area delimited from the first spatial area by means of a proton-permeable membrane. A voltage between the anode and the cathode is increased by a DC/DC converter located at the anode and the cathode, and a further voltage between a further anode in said or a further first spatial area and a further cathode in said or a further second spatial area is increased by a further DC/DC converter located at the further anode and the further cathode. A DC voltage link is charged with the DC/DC converter and the further DC/DC converter connected in parallel to the DC voltage link.

  • Publication number: 20150228987
Abstract: A membrane electrode assembly for a fuel cell. The membrane electrode assembly has a membrane electrode unit and an integrally formed seal with a first sub-section and a second subsection. The membrane electrode unit has a perforation, along which the seal extends on both faces of the membrane unit. The first sub-section of the seal is situated on a first flat face and the second sub-section on a second flat face of the membrane electrode unit and the two sub-sections are integrally joined through the perforation. A fuel cell is also provided having a plurality of membrane electrode assemblies.
