  • Publication number: 20220340007
Abstract: The example aspects of the present disclosure relates to a pedal module, with an electromechanical actuator, and with a base body, having an inner space and in the inner space, a pedal mechanism with a restoring unit, as well as an actuation plate, wherein the base body and actuation plate are connected to one another such that the actuation plate is rotatably mounted on the base body. Moreover, the pedal module has a coupling element, having a first end and a second end, wherein the coupling element in the region of the first end is situated in operative connection with the pedal mechanism and in the region of the second end is situated in operative connection with the actuation plate. To propose a pedal module with an actuator which has a simple, cost-effective and low-maintenance construction, and moreover ensures the generation of easily usable tactile signals, it is provided that the coupling element has a cavity in which the electromechanical actuator is disposed.

  • Publication number: 20080120033
Abstract: The invention relates to methods for determining the scope of detectability and readability of light signals with several light spots at a given surrounding radiant density per unit area. According to the invention, calculation of the scope of detectability is carried out with the rod of the assumption that the total radiant density per unit area or the total light intensity of the light signal is obtained by multiplying the radiant density per unit area or light intensity of a single light spot by the number of light spots.

  • Patent number: 6202323
Abstract: Apparatus for treating material webs. For the purpose of treating material webs (10), especially drying them, these are acted on by a (heated) gaseous medium via slot nozzles (13, 14) in the area of a drying chamber (11). Depending on the operating conditions and the material web, the flow conditions of the gaseous medium must be capable of being adapted in the area of the material web, since the material web (10) may otherwise be adversely affected, for example as a result of an excessive supply of heat. The slot nozzles (13, 14) are designed in such a way that, in order to change the flow conditions, the exit of the gaseous medium from different nozzle slots can be adjusted by means of a control device, especially a slide device. By means of different outflow directions of the nozzles, an influence can be exerted on the flow conditions and the supply of heat, depending on the operating condition of the drying chamber (11).

  • Patent number: 6013921
Abstract: In a method of measuring a mass flow distribution of a flow over a measuring plane (8), a light section (5) extending parallel to and around the measuring plane is formed, the light section having a small thickness (7). A picture is recorded, vertically to the measuring plane and during a defined interval of time t, of particles carried by the flow and passing through the light section. The distribution of the images of the particles (4) in the picture is evaluated for the mass flow distribution.
