  • Patent number: 8091623
Abstract: The invention relates to an air mixer vent (5), designed in particular for a motor vehicle air conditioning system (1). Said vent comprises an air deflector element (15), which is located on the air mixer vent (5) and protrudes from a surface of said vent (5), the latter (5) being configured as a partially cylindrical vent or having a curved cross-section in relation to the pivoting axis (6).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 30, 2005
Date of Patent: January 10, 2012
Assignee: Behr GmbH & Co. KG
Inventors: Roland Hackl, Thorsten Möllert, Thomas Zeller
  • Patent number: 7585209
Abstract: The invention relates to an air-conditioning device and to a method for the operation of an air-conditioning device. The aim of the invention is to improve current air-conditioning devices such that a desired level of temperature inside the motor vehicle changes as little as possible and the windows are kept mist-free. As a result, each bypass channel, which guides the heat exchanger to an air outlet channel, is associated with a mixing flap in order to control the warm air flow passing through the bypass channel.

Date of Patent: September 8, 2009
Assignee: BEHR GmbH & Co. KG
Inventors: Ronny Kiel, Thorsten Möllert, Stéphanie Larpent
  • Publication number: 20090209189
Abstract: The invention relates to an air-conditioning system comprising a temperature sensing valve. The aim of the invention is to improve air-conditioning systems such that the intermixing of different temperature air currents can be improved by means of an advantageous embodiment of the temperature sensing valve.
