    Abstract: A method for reducing coefficient of friction of a laminate comprising a polyurethane adhesive is provided. The method comprises providing the polyurethane adhesive; and adhering at least two substrates with the polyurethane adhesive to form a laminate, wherein the polyurethane adhesive is formed by reacting (A) an isocyanate component comprising a prepolymer derived from the reaction of a diisocyanate, a polyethylene glycol and optionally an additional polyol; with (B) a polyol component. The method can achieve minimized COF and viscosity, while retaining other performance properties such as bond strength, heat seal strength and boil in bag resistance. A composition for preparing the adhesive, a laminate product prepared with said composition as well the method for preparing the laminate product are also provided.
