  • Publication number: 20230287923
Abstract: The invention relates to a fastening element, in particular an eccentric screw, and an adjustment system comprising a fastening element. Fastening elements are already known from the prior art. These are often used in an adjustment system in order, for example, to adjust chassis parts of a vehicle. For this, eccentric elements are often mounted or moulded on the fastening element in order to achieve adjustability in this way. To achieve secure positioning of the eccentric element on the fastening element, it is often guided on the fastening element in a rotationally fixed manner via a groove. The problem with this, however, is that the groove results in particularly expensive production of the fastening element, in particular owing to the shaping of the thread of the fastening element, since the shaping tool for shaping the thread is often damaged and/or severely worn by the groove, in particular the ramp thereof, and therefore these tools have only a short service life.

  • Publication number: 20180156257
Abstract: A high-strength screw (1) includes a head (2) having a tool engagement external contour (7) and a tool engagement internal contour (8). For example, the tool engagement external contour (7) is an external hexagonal and the tool engagement internal contour (8) is an internal hexagonal. A plurality of additional pocket-shaped impressions (13) are arranged in the tool engagement internal contour (8) between corners (12).

  • Publication number: 20170128870
Abstract: A mobile purification device for purifying indoor air and/or fresh air, has a holder and a filter element having a particle-filtering and a gas-adsorbing region, the particle-filtering region having a filter medium and the filter element being received in the holder to purify indoor air and/or fresh air containing smoke and/or particles and is useful as a mobile purification device, filtering particle-polluted and/or smoke-polluted indoor air and/or fresh air as effectively as possible, with particulate, emitted contaminants being prevented as far as possible from being discharged from the gas-adsorbing region into a space, wherein the particle-filtering region faces a downstream side of the holder and in that the gas-adsorbing region faces an upstream side, which can be supplied with indoor air and/or fresh air polluted with smoke and/or particles.

  • Patent number: 8997019
Abstract: A method of operating a display device of a vehicle is provided on which information is representable in list form with a number of list entries, while the display device size is given and the type and font size are predefined. Each list entry has a second number of maximally representable characters. For the first number of list entries currently to be represented on the display device, it is determined whether, in each case, two mutually successive list entries each have a number of characters that is greater than the second representable number. In the affirmative case, the representable second number of characters of the mutually successive list entries is compared with respect to distinctiveness. When an indistinctiveness is determined, a distinctiveness of these two list entries will be established on the display.
