Abstract: The present disclosure provides anti-Siglec-6 antibodies and their use in treating and preventing mast cell-mediated disorders, as well as compositions and kits comprising the anti-Siglec-6 antibodies.

Abstract: A transcatheter heart valve prosthesis and a method of assembling the transcatheter heart valve prosthesis are disclosed. The heart valve prosthesis includes a valve-skirt assembly having an inner skirt, a frame, an outer wrap backing and an outer wrap. The method includes: tacking the valve-skirt assembly within the frame; attaching the inner skirt below commissure posts of the frame; attaching commissures of the valve component to the commissure posts; attaching a plurality of outer wrap backings to the inner skirt; attaching the outer wrap backings and the inner skirt to the frame; attaching tissue bumpers to struts in an outflow section of the frame; attaching an outer wrap and the inner skirt to the frame; attaching the outer wrap to the inner skirt proximate inflow edges thereof; and attaching the outer wrap to the inner skirt and to the outer wrap backings proximate respective outflow edges thereof.

Abstract: A cup dispenser for dispensing cups of differing size with variable extraction force includes: (a) a housing configured to receive a stack of disposable cups, the housing defining a housing opening as well as support means for receiving a dispensing ring member; (b) means for defining a dispensing aperture at the housing opening comprising at least one dispensing ring mounted on the housing support means therefor, the means for defining the dispensing aperture being generally configured to releasably retain the stack of disposable cups within said housing and require a predetermined extraction force to extract a cup from the stack in the housing, the required predetermined extraction force being variable depending upon the brim diameter of the cup. The dispenser may include 2 interchangeable rings, each of which is adapted for a specific size cup, or a single ring which requires an extraction force that varies with cup size.

Abstract: A tissue paper of improved softness, strength and absorbency; and a manufacturing process for such a tissue paper where the generation of foam is reduced, or eliminated altogether. These are obtained using a tissue paper softener system comprising a substantially equimolar, ion-paired mixture of an anionic surfactant and a cationic quaternary ammonium compound, wherein the softener system is formulated such that the charge density of the anionic surfactant/cationic quaternary ammonium compound mixture will be about neutral.
