The brightness control method includes obtaining a current grayscale value of a current frame and a target grayscale value of a target frame in the LCD area, wherein the target frame is the frame next to the current frame; obtaining a response time required to convert the current grayscale value into the target grayscale value of the LCD area; and adjusting a target grayscale value of the LED area to an actual grayscale value during the target frame according to the response time.
