  • Publication number: 20100113990
Abstract: A pneumatic device for cardiopulmonary resuscitation assist includes a back plate and a compressing member. The back plate has two securing members mounted respectively on two sides of the back plate. The compressing member includes a mounting plate and a bladder. The mounting plate is detachably connected to the back plate and has an upper surface, a lower surface, a gas passage and two securing straps. The gas passage is formed on the upper surface of the mounting plate. The securing straps are respectively mounted on two sides of the mounting plate and respectively connected selectively to the securing members. The bladder is mounted on the lower surface of the mounting plate and communicates with the gas passage. The bladder can compress a patient's chest continuously and stably when repeatedly inflating the bladder, and this provides a good cardiac massage and prevents hurting the patient's ribs.

  • Patent number: 7047973
Abstract: A laryngeal mask tube has of a dual-airway tube, a mask with an inflatable bladder and an inflation indicator device. The dual-airway tube has a primary tube communicated with the mask to guide gas into the body of a patient and a secondary tube communicated between with the bladder and the inflation indicator device. Two ribs are formed in the mask to prevent blockage of the primary tube and a tongue is formed inside the bladder to prevent the bladder from folding. Improvements of the laryngeal mask are that the tongue further has an easing hole to reduce rigidity of the tongue and the mask further has a fusing portion to integrally combine the dual-tube and the bladder together to avoid breakage at the bladder. Whereby, the laryngeal mask airway eliminates feelings of discomfort to patients and is durable in use.

  • Publication number: 20040200479
Abstract: A laryngeal mask airway has a dual-airway, a back plate with a smooth extended tongue and a laryngeal mask with a top surface. The back plate is integrally formed with the top surface of the laryngeal mask. The dual-airway communicates with the back plate. The dual-airway further has a secondary tube for injecting air into the bladder. Because the extended tongue of back plate is integrally formed on the laryngeal mask, laryngeal mask airways in accordance with the present invention are easy and have a guide to insert into the larynx without the tip folding over.

  • Publication number: 20020134388
Abstract: An anaesthetic medical facemask includes a disposable air cushion and a reusable shell attached to the air cushion. The air cushion is made of thermoplastic urethane elastomer (TPU). TPU is a hydrolysis material so that the TPU can decompose in a short time. The air cushion is thrown away and does not pollute the environment after use. The shell can be with another patient after disinfecting the shell because the shell never comes in direct contact with the patient during use. Consequently, the volume of the medical waste is smaller and the cost of environmental protection becomes lower.
