Abstract: A coffee scale includes a weighing mechanism and a display mechanism separated from the weighing mechanism; the weighing mechanism and the display mechanism are respectively provided with a first magnetic piece and a second magnetic piece with opposite magnetic pole; or one of the first magnetic piece and the second magnetic piece is a magnet and the other of the first magnetic piece and the second magnetic piece is made of iron material so that the weighing mechanism and the display mechanism can be attracted together in an action of magnetic force.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for rapid identification of column heterogeneity in databases are disclosed. For example, the method receives data associated with a column in a database. The method computes a cluster entropy for the data as a measure of data heterogeneity and then determines whether said data is heterogeneous in accordance with the cluster entropy.
