The degradation method of petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated soil is provided. The degradation method of the present disclosure is simple in operation and has a high degradation efficiency of petroleum hydrocarbon in contaminated soil.

    Abstract: Highly transparent (up to 92% light transmittance) wood composites have been developed. The process of fabricating the transparent wood composites includes lignin removal followed by index-matching polymer infiltration resulted in fabrication of the transparent wood composites with preserved naturally aligned nanoscale fibers. The thickness of the transparent wood composite can be tailored by controlling the thickness of the initial wood substrate. The optical transmittance can be tailored by selecting infiltrating polymers with different refractive indices. The transparent wood composites have a range of applications in biodegradable electronics, optoelectronics, as well as structural and energy efficient building materials. By coating the transparent wood composite layer on the surface of GaAs thin film solar cell, an 18% enhancement in the overall energy conversion efficiency has been attained.

    Abstract: A power device threshold voltage measurement circuit and its operation method thereof are provided. The measurement circuit includes a switch component, a device under test, a common source capacitor and a decoupling capacitor. The switch component and the device under test forms a half bridge circuit and the common source capacitor is in series connected at the source of the device under test. The device under test is connected as a lower switch of the half bridge circuit and the decoupling capacitor is connected between the device under test and the common source capacitor. By applying an OFF-state stress mode and a measurement mode successively afterwards, a threshold voltage of the device under test is obtained. And the present invention is beneficial to achieving in shorter pulse width, faster measuring speed and inexpensive measuring equipment, and can thus be widely applied to group III-N based power devices.

Using the dish cover operator and the dish container operator is essential to ensure that the researcher's hands will not directly touch the Petri dish in the sterile operating bench, thereby blocking all potential contamination of the medium and culture by foreign organisms.

    Abstract: It is provided a monitoring reactor and a method for using the same, belonging to microbiologic electrochemical early-warning technology. The monitoring reactor enriches microorganisms therein before use, and consumes the organic matter. When the organic matter in the monitoring reactor is consumed completely, i.e. the microorganisms are in a starved state, the monitoring reactor is placed in a system to be monitored for monitoring, thereby avoiding the interference of the organic matter in the soil in the monitoring reactor to the electrical signal and improving the monitoring accuracy. Furthermore, since the electrical signal in the monitoring reactor is conducted through the electricigens, the process of generating electricity of the electricigens is a process of growth and propagation of microorganism. This process is less affected by the monitored environment. Therefore, the signal output process is stable, without swell and sag of the electrical signal.
