  • Patent number: 11958038
Abstract: A group of reductive 2D materials (R2D) with extended reactive vacancies and a method for making the R2D with extended reactive vacancies are provided, especially the example of the reductive boron nitride (RBN). To create defects such as vacancies, boron nitride (BN) powders are milled at cryogenic temperatures. Vacancies are produced by milling, and the vacancies can be used to reduce various metal nanostructures on RBN. Due to the thermal stability of the RBN and the enhanced catalytic performance of metal nanostructures, RBN-metals can be used for different catalysts, including electrochemical catalysts and high temperature catalysts.

  • Publication number: 20240119341
Abstract: The present disclosure describes techniques for determining performance of a classifier. A first machine learning model and a second machine learning model may be trained by aggregating updates to the first machine learning model and the second machine learning model received from a plurality of client computing devices. A cumulative distribution function (CDF) associated with a distribution of the positive samples in the user data may be estimated using the trained first machine learning model. A probability density function (PDF) associated with a distribution of the negative samples in the user data may be estimated using the trained second machine learning model. An integration-based computation of an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) of the classifier may be performed using the PDF and the CDF.

  • Patent number: 11923939
Abstract: Multiple mobility sets are maintained for nodes of radio networks. The sets comprise information such as: transmit and receive point identities; cell identities; beam identities; frequency channels; channel bandwidth; and black lists. The sets may be defined at different levels, such as network and physical (PHY) level. A network mobility set, e.g., a new-radio (NR) mobility set may, be determined by the gNB, the cell, the UE, or another device. Multiple radio access network nodes and UEs may exchange mobility set information to achieve a distributed mobility solution. A UE may monitor its orientation relative to a TRP, e.g., via use of an onboard MEMS gyroscope, and alter its beamforming parameters in response to changes in orientation and/or changes in TRP connection strength. Cell selection and reselection for beam based networks may use Single Frequency Network (SFN) broadcast of initial access signals without beam sweeping.

  • Patent number: 11763230
Abstract: Machine learning-based approaches are used to detect trends of behavior and anomalous events from customer support messages between customers and customer support agents or other appropriate resources in an electronic environment. For example, for a plurality of time periods, a prediction model can be trained. The prediction models can be trained on messages that correspond to each prediction models' period of time. The prediction models can process messages to determine a score (e.g., a representative confidence score) for the time period a prediction model is associated with. For a selected time period, a model (e.g., a trend detection model) can be applied to the scores for time periods before the selected time period to determine whether the score for the selected time period is associated with an anomalous event. Thereafter, an alert can be presented with, for example, the messages that triggered the alert, among other such information.
