Abstract: A new real-time video communication system includes a set of electronic devices. Each device runs a specialized real-time video communication software application including a video quality module. The video quality module retrieves network connection statistic data from a network connection module, and video encoder statistic data from a video quality module. The video quality module uses the network connection statistic data and the video encoder statistic data to determine a first objective video quality measure without extensive mathematical operations. The video quality module also uses the first objective video quality measure, the network connection statistic data and the video encoder statistic data to determine a second objective quality measure without extensive mathematical operations.

Abstract: Storage processes are described. For instance, dumping of cache data in a memory table at a source directory table partition in a source container group is stopped in response to receiving a close signal. A notification for creating a target directory table partition is sent to a target container group, the notification including a checkpoint at the source directory table partition. The cache data in the memory table is sent to the target container group, and the source container group is closed in response to a determination that an ownership of the target directory table partition is updated to the target container group. A rescheduling and/or upgrading solution is thus proposed for a source container group, so that the source container group is still in a service state during the rescheduling and/or upgrading solution, which improves the performance of storage services and reduces the data unavailable time.

The assembling device is used to assemble a plastic frame and a back plate together and includes: a pressing mechanism configured to press a region of the plastic frame; and a supporting device. The supporting device includes: a supporting platform configured to support the back plate and the plastic frame; and a supporting frame configured to support the pressing mechanism. The pressing mechanism is configured to contact the plastic frame at least one contact point, and a direction of a resultant force of forces applied at the at least one contact point by the pressing mechanism is at an acute angle with respect to a plane where a top surface of the plastic frame lies.
