Abstract: A hard disk device simulator, a testing system using the hard disk device simulator and a testing method thereof are disclosed. The hard disk device simulator having a detection circuit is serially connected to a test port of a device under test, and a test program is executed on the device under test to read a signal link status of an insertion slot of the device under test and transmit a detection command through the test port, to drive a detection circuit of the hard disk device simulator to detect signals on a power pin, a clock pin and a system management bus, to generate a detection result, thereby verifying correctness of the device under test based on the signal link status and the detection result. As a result, the technical effect of reducing the cost of testing the device under test can be achieved.

Abstract: A device for transmitting commands with a circuit of a circuit board to test a connection interface, a system and a method thereof are disclosed. In the system, an inter-integrated circuit (I2C) of the circuit board under test is used to transmit an control command to a test device, which is connected to the inter-integrated circuit via a memory connection interface of the circuit board under test, the test device converts the control command to test the memory connection interface connected thereto, so as to achieve the technical effect of improving test efficiency in testing the memory connection interface of the circuit board under test without using an external connection line.

Abstract: A self-test system for PCIe and a method thereof are disclosed. In the system, a first circuit interconnect card and a second circuit interconnect card are inserted into CEM slots, respectively, and the first circuit interconnect card and the second circuit interconnect card are electrically connected to each other through a FFC, the central processing unit generates and provides differential signals to the first circuit interconnect card and the second circuit interconnect card; the first circuit interconnect card or the second circuit interconnect card provide differential signals to the second circuit interconnect card or the first circuit interconnect card through the first FFC interface and the second FFC interface, respectively, and the second circuit interconnect card or the first circuit interconnect card provides the differential signals to a central processing unit, so as to implement self-check for PCIe.

Abstract: A hot plugging system and method are disclosed, in which a pluggable device transmits a request to a host before the pluggable device is pulled out so that the host may select whether preserving a device status, and preserves the device status and then shuts down a power of the pluggable device directly when preserving is selected while shuts down directly the power of the pluggable device when no preserving is selected so that the pluggable device is selected to be recovered or initialized according to the device status, existing or non-existing, after being inserted onto the host again, whereby achieving in a technical efficacy of promoting the hot plugging recovery.

Abstract: A bus pressure testing system and method thereof are disclosed, where a peripheral component interconnect express (PCI-E) device is used to initialize a central processing unit (CPU), peripheral component interface express (PCI-E) device interface and memory according to a testing model, generate a data transmission path corresponding to the testing model, produce a pressure data stream by using the PCI-E device, and test a bus for its pressure by flowing the pressure data transmission stream on the data transmission path. As such, the pressure testing may be enhanced in practicability.

Abstract: A system and a method of testing bridge SAS channels includes a control terminal, a hot-plug bridge interface, a first adaptor, an SAS back plate, and a second adaptor. The control terminal selects an SAS interface as a transmission path for sending a test signal. The hot-plug bridge interface receives and converts the test signal sent from the control terminal. The hot-plug bridge interface has a hot-plug function. The first adaptor is connected to the hot-plug bridge interface and the SAS back plate. The second adaptor is connected between the SAS back plate and a terminal unit. The control terminal sends the test signal and detects a signal under test sent back from the terminal unit, and compares whether they are consistent with each other or not. In this way, the control terminal determines whether the SAS interfaces in the SAS back plate run normally or not.
