Abstract: The present disclosure provides a novel multi-purpose adjustable hanging beam and a hanging method. The novel multi-purpose adjustable hanging beam includes two parallel main beams, two ends of each main beam are respectively connected with end beams, a plurality of displacement hangers sliding relative to the main beams are arranged on the main beams, screw rods are arranged between the two main beams, the displacement hangers are in threaded connection with the screw rods, a first motor is arranged at one end of each screw rod, reduction gearboxes are arranged between the first motors and the screw rods, one end of each screw rod is connected with the corresponding reduction gearbox, and the first motors and the reduction gearboxes are mounted on the end beams.
