Publication number: 20250140240Abstract: Techniques are described herein for detecting and/or enrolling (or commissioning) new “hot commands” that are useable to cause an automated assistant to perform responsive action(s) without having to be first explicitly invoked. In various implementations, an automated assistant may be transitioned from a limited listening state into a full speech recognition state in response to a trigger event. While in the full speech recognition state, the automated assistant may receive and perform speech recognition processing on a spoken command from a user to generate a textual command. The textual command may be determined to satisfy a frequency threshold in a corpus of textual commands. Consequently, data indicative of the textual command may be enrolled as a hot command. Subsequent utterance of another textual command that is semantically consistent with the textual command may trigger performance of a responsive action by the automated assistant, without requiring explicit invocation.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 2, 2025Publication date: May 1, 2025Inventors: Yuan Yuan, Bibo Xu, Tianyu Wang, Anurag Jain

Publication number: 20250132891Abstract: A method and an apparatus are provided in which at least one data slicer of a receiver samples a signal based on a clock sampling position to obtain a first data sample and a second data sample. An integrator of the receiver integrates the signal from the first data sample to the second data sample to generate an integrated voltage. A first data slicer of the receiver samples the integrated voltage at a time of the second data sample to obtain an integrated sample. A phase detector of the receiver determines whether the clock sampling position requires adjustment based on a sign of the integrated sample.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 14, 2023Publication date: April 24, 2025Inventor: Tianyu WANG

Patent number: 12225506Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for high-bandwidth stations in a WiFi environment. In embodiments, a bandwidth of communications supported by the access point is divided into multiple frequency segments. In an embodiment, bandwidths up to 320 MHz are supported, which can be subdivided into four frequency segments of 80 MHz each. Different stations park on different frequency segments, whereas the access point has its primary channel located on the first frequency segment. With this configuration, uplink and downlink channel access can be provided to the different stations using a primary channel hopping pattern, which is provided to the stations from the AP. This pattern provides time windows for each frequency segment, during which the stations in that segment are able to freely communicate. Several other aspects of the disclosure further support this configuration and other high-bandwidth configurations.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2021Date of Patent: February 11, 2025Assignee: APPLE INC.Inventors: Jinjing Jiang, Yong Liu, Tianyu Wu, Qi Wang, Su Khiong Yong, Jarkko L.
