The communication method includes presetting first correspondence between a user identifier and an extension number in a VoIP server. After the VoIP server receives a call request and if the call request contains a called extension number, a called user identifier is acquired according to the called extension number and the preset first correspondence. The call request is sent to a first client corresponding to the called user identifier, so that the first client is capable of forwarding a call to a voice communication telephone set connected to the first client.

A method for realizing the reception of a incoming call number by a terminal in advance includes: the MSC in the CDMA network transmitting the incoming call number of a paging to the access network of the HRPD network through interface A1; the access network forwarding the incoming call number of this paging to the called terminal; the called user deciding whether to accept the incoming call based on the received incoming call number. Accordingly, the switching between HRPD and CDMA2000 1x can be avoided when the user decides not to accept the incoming call.
