  • Publication number: 20210188304
Abstract: A method for producing coaching messages to a vehicle driver on a vehicle route includes receiving in a remote server current weather data, weather forecast data and vehicle route information, monitoring vehicle control unit data received from the vehicle, identifying potential hotspot locations along the route, determining whether the vehicle is approaching an identified hotspot location, and sending an alert with a recommended action to the vehicle when the vehicle approaches the identified hotspot location. The system includes a remote server configured to analyze the data and analyze the driver's responses to the alerts. If recommended action was taken, issue a positive coaching messages to the vehicle driver; and if not, evaluating whether the identified hotspot was valid or invalid and comparing the vehicle driver's action taken with other driver's responses taken at the identified hotspot.

  • Publication number: 20210118330
Abstract: A method and system for automatically generating driver coaching messages that reflect the driver's immediate past 2 week's performance along related to actual vehicle performance during that same period utilizing actual coaching messages previously evaluated and stored.

  • Patent number: 10773727
Abstract: A method for performing driver performance comparisons is enabled, e.g., via in-vehicle capture of performance data from multiple vehicles or drivers. The performance comparisons are enabled via a geohash-based path analysis.

  • Patent number: 8463925
Abstract: Methods and apparatus provide for a finite state machine environment to receive at least one event. The finite state machine environment converts the event to a finite state machine event. The finite state machine environment selects a first event processing table from a plurality of interoperable event processing tables. The finite state machine environment processes the finite state machine event in the first event processing table to determine an action to perform based on a state of the finite state machine embodied by the first event processing table and a type of the event.

  • Patent number: 7937449
Abstract: Methods and apparatus provide for receiving a request for memory from a network stack subsystem running in user mode. The request is received at a listing of pointers that resides within the network stack but separate from kernel memory. Each available pointer in the listing of pointers references a particular free kernel memory location. In response to the request, the listing of pointers provides the network stack subsystem with at least one pointer to a free kernel memory location. Via the pointer, the network stack subsystem that received the pointer to the free kernel memory location directly writes at least one segment of a packet to the free kernel memory location.
