  • Publication number: 20080084000
Abstract: The invention provides colloid systems, preferably capsules, dispersions and emulsions, assembled by micelles containing new-type anionic surfactant and small molecular cationic complexing agent. Furthermore, the invention provides a method for phase separation, preferably for coacervation, of polymolecular colloid systems composed of aqueous anionic surfactants and the associates of them be the use of non colloidal sized complexing agents (polymolecular complex coacervation), and the use of this method for separating biologically active substances and for producing capsules, dispersions and emulsions containing such substances. Additionally, the invention provides reagent kits for performing the method of the invention.

  • Patent number: 6926930
Abstract: Process for coating the surface of plastics comprising absorbing the vapor one or more internal reagent(s) in the plastic to be coated, and contacting one or more external reagent(s) with the surface of the plastic, wherein an immobilized coating is formed by a chemical reaction between the internal reagent(s) and the external reagent(s). The internal reagent(s) is(are) selected from substances which do not react with the plastic and the internal reagent(s) diffuse out of the plastic during contacting, wherein the coating is formed at the boundary layer of the plastic towards which the internal reagent(s) and the external reagent(s) diffuse.

  • Publication number: 20040131542
Abstract: Products and preparation of products containing one or more charged biomaterial(s) reversibly immobilized to an ion exchanger attached to the internal surface of a plastic pipette tip, wherein the product is in dried form and it contains a pre-dispensed quantity of the biomaterial(s) immobilized to the ion-exchanger. The products are useful for stabilizing, storing, transporting and pre-dispensing charged biomaterials.
