  • Patent number: 4430591
Abstract: The stator coil of a high-voltage generator comprises an electrical lead-in (1) of conductive material, turns (2) of conductive material coated with layers (6) of turn-to-turn insulation with a screen layer (7). The electrical lead-in (1) is fashioned as a tube. The stator coil of a high-voltage generator further comprises cooling pipes (3) adjoining the turns (2) and having side openings (4, 5), and insulating members (9). Each insulating member (8) consists of two parts (10, 11) made integral with each other. A portion of the first part (10), facing the coil turns (2), has two projections with holes communicated with the side openings (4 or 5) in the cooling pipes (3). The insulating member (9) is provided with passages communicated with spaces in the projections. The insulating members (9) are arranged concentrically with the electrical lead-in tube (1), and each pair of said insulating members forms an insulating tube (8) for the supply of cooling agent, made up of two parts.

  • Patent number: 4429244
Abstract: A stator of a generator, which stator comprises a housing accommodating a slotted magnetic core 2, a dielectric oil-separating cylinder 4 arranged next to the internal surface of the magnetic core, and a winding composed of two series-connected half-windings 7, 8, each composed, in turn, of high-voltage elements 6. The high-voltage elements 6 of one half-winding 8 in the slotted part of the stator are placed in insulation sleeves 14 which have hollow projections 15 on their internal surfaces. Placed between the hollow projections is a thermosetting compound. The part of each insulation sleeve, which extends beyond the slotted part of the stator, has a cylindrical portion integral with a cone-shaped cable-type termination reinforced with current-carrying layers.

  • Patent number: 4420701
Abstract: A coupling unit for connection of a generator high-voltage winding and an let bar comprises summary turns of the generator high-voltage winding made up of conducting layers which are insulated conductors connected in the zone of the high-voltage lead-in with the inlet bar (17) and cooling ducts. Summary turns of the generator high-voltage winding are made as concentrically arranged tubes (5,7,9,11,12) connected to one another in the zone of the high-voltage lead-in by means of template tubular elements (16) providing for gradual change over of the tube (5) of the first summary turn into a tube (7) of the second summary turn, of the tube (7) of the second summary turn into a tube (9) of the third summary turn and so on until the tube (9) of the penultimate summary turn becomes the tube (11,12) of the last summary turn of the generator high-voltage winding. Cooling ducts are divided into a central duct (6) and peripheral ducts (15) for cooling.
