    Abstract: A fully automatic telescopic rod includes at least two sleeves and one operation handle. The operation handle is fitted to a lower end of an outer sleeve of the at least two sleeves. A first inner sleeve of the at least two sleeves is movably fitted in the outer sleeve. The operation handle includes a power mechanism therein. The power mechanism is connected to a screw rod extending into the first inner sleeve and drives the screw rod to rotate in a forward or reverse direction. A nut is mated with the screw rod and fixed to a lower end of the first inner sleeve. The first inner sleeve can be unfolded and folded relative to the outer sleeve and can be positioned at any position.

The pull wire has a free end that is coupled through a tighten-up device to the outer rib. The tighten-up device includes a position-restoration member arranged therein to connect to the free end of the pull wire and apply a position-restoration driving force to the pull wire. The tighten-up device keeps the pull wire in a stretched and tight condition during collapsing of umbrella so as to prevent entangling and ensure a smooth opening operation and service life of the umbrella.

The push post has a drive portion and inner threads. The joining element moves upwardly or downwardly along the slot. The push post has the drive portion, a coupling portion, and a deforming portion. The deforming portion is sufficiently rigid to shaft itself in an axial direction and deforms and recovers its original shape in a torque direction.

    Abstract: A control device is applied to a base of an umbrella stem. A buckle sits in the base whose upper portion sets a controlling device controlled by the buckle and whose lower portion radially disposes a spool disk. The peripheral wall of the spool disk having ratchets defined thereon is embraced by a spool groove. Two ends of a spiral spring are respectively fixed to the base and the spool disk to generate an elastic force driving the spool disk's rotation. A shift block positioned under the base of the controlling device has a continuous torsion to contact the spool disk and clasp the ratchets. A disk cord provides one end fixed on the spool disk and wound around the spool groove and the other end penetrating the controlling device and the base to join an upper accommodation of the umbrella.

    Abstract: A control mechanism for folding jump umbrellas includes a composite control ring, a lower runner having a step opening at one end for housing a lower runner spring and a sleeve and a square opening engageable with a latch stub of a pushbutton. When the pushbutton is depressed, the square opening will be separated from the latch stub to allow the umbrella frame extending under the force of an extension spring. To retract the umbrella, depress a clip leg to move a latch element away from the harness of an elastic latch strip, the umbrella may be retracted by a retracting spring. When the umbrella tie band is not unfastened and the pushbutton is incidentally triggered, the lower runner spring which has a greater elastic force than a control ring spring will prevent the clip leg from reaching the position of the latch element, and the umbrella will not be extended or retracted immediately. Thus the umbrella can be prevented from extending by incidental triggering of the pushbutton.
